Join Phoenix chapter, as their guest speaker is Jessie Bustamante, who is a Senior Director at the American Heart Association. Jessie works to raise awareness and much needed research funds to ensure that heart disease and stroke are one day a thing of the past. Heart disease is the #1 killer of Americans, it affects more women than men and claims more lives than all forms of cancers combined. Jessie is looking forward to meeting the members of NAWIC as the construction industry has one of the unhealthiest workforces and the American Heart Association wants to ensure that you all have the resources to create and sustain healthy lifestyle choices.
